Hungarian Public Utility Company of Investment
and Trade Development (ITDH) is supervised by the Ministries of
Economy and Foreign Affairs. The company intermediates among the
Hungarian entrepreneurs, the state and regional institutes of administration,
and the foreign partners. The company was founded in 1993.
ITDH
- is constructed according to a European pattern:
similarly to state organisations in developed market economies,
its function is to boost investments and develop trade
- has several offices in Hungary and abroad, a solid base of information:
clients can contact
36 foreign offices in 33 countries controlled from the Budapest
headquarters, and 9 regional offices in Hungary
- is a non-profit organisation: the basic services are without
any compensation
- provides information and services to its clients: discloses
business opportunities and finds partners in order to help foreign
companies in making investments in Hungary and Hungarian companies
in getting to foreign markets either directly or indirectly.
